Kentucky Bluegrass is long-lived, with underground rhizomes, resulting in dense sod. It is a highly palatable pasture grass. Ginger has excellent early spring greenup and forage production – almost a month earlier than many other bluegrass varieties. It is tolerant of close grazing, and is palatable and nutritious for all livestock – horses included.
