Landscapers Choice is turf mixture positioned for athletic fields and the higher-managed home lawns. LSC is a mixture of turf varieties of tall fescue, perennial ryegrass and Kentucky bluegrass. The addition of perennial ryegrass is for early winter cover and the bluegrass helps to “knit” the turf together. LCS can be used in full sun or in partial shade. Remember, these are all cool-season grasses and will go dormant during times of stress, mainly heat and drought. For new seedings: 6-7# per 1,000 square feet or 250 – 300 pounds per acre.
